Gavin's dotage

Gavin didn't cover much ground, but he was enjoying himself and didn't want to leave. Of course, once I put him in his wagon he just kinda melted into his adorable resting pose. He's pretty tired today, but that would be normal. I am very glad I got him to his happy place this weekend :)
 
Gavin seems to be enjoying begging for my dinner. He only does that when he is feeling slightly spunky. I am thinking we might need to dial back his time in the chair a bit on the weekend as his leg isn't recovering as well as I'd like, but it isn't too bad either. The ever present balancing act. Thankfully his night time habits are normal (he moves from my bedroom to the living room and back, including drinking water in the middle of the night-he is noisy now so I hear it)
 
well, we never really celebrated his birthday. He is a Christmas puppy, and I was always away for that time anyway. And last Christmas he ended up terribly ill over that time. Wondering what I could do for him. He already goes to the beach most weekends. He doesn't like sleeping with me (he moves around at night). We cuddle plenty. any ideas?
