Gavin's Never Ending Dotage (Part 2)

I wonder if being in a new place is sparking some curiosity about his surroundings and making him more active. That's probably great for him. He certainly looks happy and comfortable! It's wonderful that you were able to take him with you.

I agree with Ann, He looks very happy. I hope things continue to go well on his trip. It is wonderful you were able to take him.

It has been a lot of work, tbh. (and lets not even talk about setting up the motel room for him every night and packing that up every morning). I think Mom wasn't prepared for all the rugs and dog beds, not to mention the need to somewhat intensively monitor Gavin for the first few days. Not that that wouldn't be true of any dog in a new place, but Gavin does need rescuing on the linoleum.

He did walk down the long hallway this morning all on his own to go see her in her bedroom. So he is definitely starting to see her as a person to follow around.

I've said it a billion times....Gavin is such an easy sweet compliant dog that he makes this all easier. I can't imagine doing all this with a cranky or stubborn dog.

he was super tired and not active the first 2-3 days and then boom! on day 4 he starts exploring.
following mom all over the place.....getting himself stranded on the kitchen linoleum.
It's good for him :)

aww. he just wandered to her office and laid down. he wanted to keep grandma company (I'm nothing special anymore :)
