Gavin's Never Ending Dotage (Part 2)

Hope you are still making decent progress and sleeping well. I got a kick out of this...
Mom keeps things at a toasty temperature
. I do have to remember to bring light clothes when at my dad's. Not as bad as when my husband visits his parents. His sister came back and her trip report mentioned their heat being set to 'cremate'. My FIL has the heater on year round; it's really dreadfully uncomfortable with my MIL wearing sleeveless tops in winter, in Newfoundland - the land of perpetual snow.

Even the basement was warm!

drove last night to make it home (that was not fun! I knew I should have avoided Pacheco Pass.....it is the devil). Gavin got to pee in his now weedy back yard and sleep in his dog beds at home (which was nice and chilly for him). He can drink water anytime he wants in his kitchen from his raised water bowl.
I got to sleep in my own bed.

now I need to alter some of the grey hair I have acquired recently :)
and finish unpacking the car (only the dog stuff made it out last night)

Gavin has vet appt on wednesday to look at taking off his tumor.
I hope we can get it done in a week or so.
sedation and local like last one would be ideal.... it is completely external so that should make it simpler in that regard.
his bloodwork last week was good...need to get that sent over to my vet
