Gone far too soon

I'm so sorry for your loss. The memories and stories you have written show the beauty of the life you and your family shared with this wonderful girl and how you vividly remember all of those days with Skye by your side. She will always be with you.

Oh, that picture of her up to her neck in snow!!! May there be blizzards in Heaven for Empress Skye.

I'm so sorry to hear about your girl. Not fair at all. Thank you so much for the story, though, which brought a smile to my face.

We are all sending you our thoughts and prayers during this time of sadness and grief.

Late to this thread due to vacation then surgery, but I wanted to comment. Dr. Mac, you do have such a way with words and your descriptions of Skye's antics are just so evocative. They have given me many a laugh.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

Our Sheltie angel, also Skye, was B.O.D. (Best of Dog) in our house. Her birthday is in two days, and though she has been gone 8 years, it still hurts my heart.

I do hope in time you have the company of another wonderful Sheltie girl to share your life with. It is the best tribute to the Shelties that have gone before. :hugs

Dr. Mac,

Today while you examined my little sheltie girl Cosey, I asked how your little girl was, only to see the pain on your face and hear your sad words that she passed last year.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for sharing your wonderful stories about Skye and the pictures that had us laughing out loud. You truly captured the essence of Sheltie love.

Dear Ellen-

Did I happen to mention here that I have the most wonderful clientele in the wor.....well, this side of Sheltie Nation anyway. Sincerely, thank you.

Cosette is SUCH a little doll. You really should post some pics here.
