Try using one of the pipe cleaner products. Should eat most of leaves and other bio stuff. Not fast like a plumber but as a prevent return thing. And give Pico a pet, Ian says no barking spinning and flying would be horrible.
My plumber told me the main culprit is dish detergent…he said it’s made with an oil byproduct.
I’ve used those plastic strips with the barbs…problem is my clogs are always too far down. Our bathroom sink the plumber had to cut the pipe at the wall and use the mechanical snake. He was worried if he couldn’t get through it he’d have to cut the basement pipes. Fortunately he unplugged it though. I hate clogs! I will definitely buy that Green Gobbler to keep on hand!
Our did that too…and a bad clog like yours!pretty sure that's what my landlord used...some less bad chemical.
weird thing is, is went from normal to clogged overnight.
Best guess is that I never really used the sink enough to back it up to noticeable levels and it drained overnight. Most of my cooking is in the oven and use aluminum foil over my pans that I can just throw away instead of needed a good scrubbing.
my opinion is 1 clog over 12 years is pretty damn good LOL.

Not so much on hand as put it in once in a while. It is not a unclogger, it is removing restrictions.
I meant to have on hand for the next clog…and there will be another one. I find the dogs are a huge contributor to the kitchen sink clogs! The last one was a lot of dog hair! And I don’t bathe my dogs in the sink…the dog hair is just everywhere.
