Housebreaking Woes...

So I decided to write down her schedule. I'm not sure how often a 17 week old puppy should be urinating. She didn't have any peeing accidents because I took her out often, however she had two weird poo accidents.

930am: Woke up and rang bell: poo and pee
10am to 1025am: food
1025am: took her out: pee
1115am: rang bell: pee
1115am to 1pm: nap
110pm: rang bell: pee
2pm: poo (sat near the door, but didn't ring bell and poo'd near the door)
2pm-215pm: food
315pm: took her out: pee
345pm: poo'd in her crate in my car!!! She couldn't wait till we got to the park???
445pm: took her out: pee
630pm: rang bell: pee
(she did run around and drink a lot of water between 630 and 650)
650pm: rang bell: pee
7pm to 730pm: food
730pm: took her out: pee
730pm to now: sleepingggg

So from 930am to 730pm, she peed 9 times. Does this schedule sound normal?

Sounds normal to me. Tully had quite a few poo accidents in the car when she was younger. She would 'lose her bowels' from excitement or stress - and apparently this is pretty common for a young dog, so maybe thats what happened in the car?

Since she's recovering from a UTI, it may take a bit for her body to get back to a normal routine. The frequency of her pottying doesn't sound too abnormal to me.

Update: She's been in the smaller crate for a week now and no accidents in this crate so far. So part of her problem was that her crate was too big.

In the past week she's had about 3 or 4 "accidents" in the house. Not too bad. I think she is definitely progressing.

She has about 3 days left of antibiotics. The vet said 7 days after she finishes her medicine, she'll get another urinalysis to make sure the UTI is gone.
