How do you keep a Sheltie off the bed?

well, Sheep didn't have much luck with no shelties on the furniture- bed is furniture too :wink2:
but my dogs don't sleep in my bed either- Cran is still in his crate at night and Callie prefers the floor- she'll start on her bed and then relocate.
 
Give up! That's all you can do..is give up. Boo won't jump on the bed, but he stands there with his nose laying on the side and whines until I bring him up with me. There is no hope for your situation.....just move over and give him a spot....and hey, like Dawn said...he'll keep your feet warm..:smile2:
 
The weatherman in the town I used to live in in central Ontario used to describe cold winter nights as a two-dog night. We need our fur-friends to keep us warm.

Our daughter, is married. She and her husband are staying with his folks. (His folks have 2 dogs) Mother in law was forever hollering at our daughter for letting the dogs on the bed. One of their trips out here they took our daughter's bed back there. Problem solved. Dogs are free to get on our daughter's bed. These dogs are so happy with this arrangement. Our daughter's opinion: if dogs can not be on the furniture, "Why Have Dogs?".
 
Let's see...four Shelties, 6 ft 3 in DH, 5 ft 10 in me...thank heavens for King Size!!!! I mean, what IS the point of having Shelties if not to sleep with them???? Nothing like Annie waking up DH by rubbing her itchy nose on his chin stubble! :lol:
