How NOT to glue ears.

Where do you find the Japanese tape? I used the no sew glue for Chloe...and stopped using it at 8 months and now her ears stick up. I would like to try an easier method with Dandie.

Ok, so for the people who aren't using glue and just the tape what do you do for the brace? :confused2:

It was totally black. His body darken and his tail got brown hairs and now he matches. But it like like someone stuck a bi-black's tail on a sable for awhile. :smile2:

Jessica, you will be much happier using Zoe-EZE adhesive remover. It is not oily at all. it evaporates right away, leaving the ears clean as a whistle. It is available from www.wicketsbymel.com

Thanks. That's what I was leaning towards. Somebody else had suggested it to me earlier. :winkgrin:

I love the Japanese tape...no glue no mess no fuss. When the tape is ready to come out it pretty much just rolls off and your left with very little residue

Oh, you remember my sad post on building the berlin wall and then having to break it down again!

yeah, story how not to fix dog's ears...
we went to a friend/ groomer/ breeder who helped put braces in pup's ears.. pup objected and was very dramatic about it... by the next morning he broke jap. tape that was holding ears together...
I decided to use permanent fabric glue to pull ears together.... choose the moment when pup fell asleep and started putting glue with hair on the pup's head... first it was too little and I needed more glue... then pup woke up and there it was... big pool of glue running on the pup's head...
it was the day of first puppy classes and of course we could not go there shaved so we underwent emergency head washing to which pup objected even more mightily...he would not come to my call for next several hours...
we decided to go natural after that...
