It's a bird, it's a plane...it's a blue!!?

Just a quick update today as we are very busy these days!

Little E is 10 weeks old and is such a character. He whines and wiggles when he's carried which is a bit of a pain since we're still working on leash training! His leash training is great...when he wants to work :) When he is over stimulated, he's a little bucking bronco!

He now knows "give" when he is tugging on a toy, is learning to go "get a toy", and is still working on adding some length to his sit! He has mastered backing up and knows his name. He also LOVES people! He loves strangers more than he loves my husband and I haha!

Housebreaking is going pretty well though he has had some tummy troubles. Every day there are small break throughs with playing with Lexi. Just yesterday he was under the bed and they played bitey face through the blanket! Lexi still won't play when he is around so we separate them for play time.

I'm attaching a picture and here is a really short video of him backing up :)

Best description of him? He is a cheeky monkey!

It is definitely so fun to watch--both the puppy come into his own and the adult dogs re-learning things :)

Enzo does in fact follow our current theme (Bentley, Lexi, Bimmer = car names) but a bit more obscurely. He is named after Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Ferrari :biggrin2:

I had a couple emotions when I first read this thread. First, YAY! Another puppy I get to watch grow up! I definitely have puppy fever over here, so I'm living vicariously, lol. I love all the pictures and videos (especially the videos)!

Second, by pure coincidence, I had the name Enzo in my head for my own blue merle puppy, who I'm still waiting for. My fiancé and I thought of the name Enzo months ago (actually it was more him than me), inspired by none other than Enzo Ferrari, because I plan to do agility with him. I swear, it's pure coincidence! :hide I even wanted to get him a little Ferrari badge for his ID tag!

So funny! Hope you'll still go for it! Honestly I'm surprised there aren't more Enzos out there!

Lol, well hopefully he'll be on his way soon! I've had my heart set on a blue merle mama's boy, but... plot twist! I might actually get a girl… I'll find out in a few weeks if she's bound for the show ring or potentially my house!

Anyway, don't want to derail this thread. Enzo's adorable! I can't wait to hear more about him. What kind of agility foundation work are you going to do with him until he's big enough for the equipment?

Enzo is such a cutie! I just love bi-blues - didn't know they existed until I was searching for a merle & found my Trace.

How did you get him to back up so wonderfully! That was a hard one for me to train.

Honestly I have to admit that I think it's just something has a natural penchant for :)
