Oh, she's BEAUTIFUL! Thank you so much for sharing this with me. It is yet another interesting insight into the "dreaded" sable merle! The color seems to be so malined! What a shame! Now, I am kinda all puffed up because I will soon be the owner of an "unusual" sable merle! Ha! Look at me!![]()

Yes! Bragging rights are great! I've always been proud that Bacca appears to be a red sable, and I read in Sheltie Talk that they are rare in North America. Don't know if it's true or whether he really is a red, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!![]()
