I have two Sheltie puppies they are 8 months old, They have been having a problem pooping. It stays stuck on there bums and mommy has to pull it off. But as I pull it off a long sting / hair like comes with it. I'm 99% sure they are not getting into anything. does anyone have any suggests? And there bums are nicely trimmed.:ick

Do you have long hair? I do and sometimes one of my little ones has the same issue and I know it means they have been licking something on the floor and gotten a hair of mine that may have fallen onto the floor.

Also as they lick their own coat, longer hairs can get ingested and cause the same "tied together" poop chain.

Happens to my Cubby A LOT. He is always licking the other sheltie, the cat, picking up my hair off the floor, licking himself. I end up often with string-a-long poo.

Yep--it happens. Hair also easily gets stuck to stuffed toys or Kongs, so he could be ingesting them that way as well.

Haha! Same with my Aimee, unfortunately I can't stop her from nibbling the carpet and herself when she's alone. oh whale. :rolleyes2:

what are you feeding your dog? Yeah, poop happens, but Ive not had to scrape m y dogs butts since I went to grain free diets.

When I had Minnie for a week, and sometimes was something "back", so I thought, why had my German Shepherd never dirty bottoms :confused2:

So Minnie was cut and now goes Minnie around with a small German Shepherd butt
It works and no one can see it
