It's been just shy of eight months since Devon last went in the house, which was sometime during the second week of November last year just as he became 5 months old (his birthday is June 11th). Prior to whatever day in that week when he finally "got it", he was going just as often in the house (if I didn't take him out every couple of hours and more often if he was playing hard and drinking lots of water) as he was two months prior to that. After the epiphany moment he's been clean as a whistle.

I truly wish I had been standing there at the moment he finally figured it all out as I would have loved to see if it's really like in the cartoons and you can actually see the light bulb shining over their heads when it all suddenly makes sense! ;)

When Piper was around 2 I actually saw that happen when he 'learnt' to learn....was teaching him his dumbbell and he went from hating it to loving it, he learnt so much faster after that!
