Monty is coughing/choking almost none stop

LOL sorry Caro but I can just picture Tully sleeping with her eyes open, that freak me out to if I couldn't hear her breathing.

Well heres a little happy pic for today. It's a new thing he does, when he's had a little rest he picks up Mr B and stares at me until I sit down and pet or brush him :lol:. He's really collecting all these pats you all asked me to give him haha.

Hello, Monty! Layla, beckon, Penny and Loki all send much love and many get well wishes. Darren, I'm forever checking to see if Layla is breathing. Now that she can't hear, she just...sleeps...so soundly. Scares and living beejeezus out of me sometimes.
 
Oh yeah, been through that "Is she breathing!???" thing especially when Brooke was in her last days, sleeping a lot. Glad he is gradually improving, he certainly knows how to get you to pay him some attention - who could resist that face? Thanks so much for the update.

Koko's sister, Kachina, is still with the breeder. She told me she is hard of hearing now and after standing there confirming her chest was indeed moving, she tried seeing what she could do without waking her up--pats, raising her leg in the air, calling her name didn't rouse her. Took a loud whistle to wake her up! LOL
 
Great news that Monty is continuing to improve! Love the picture!

Yep, I do that too: when Kip had his upset tummy awhile ago, I kept waking up and staring at him to make sure he was still breathing. It’s a terrible stressful way to spend the night. Hopefully Monty will soon be 100% again, and you can relax

You are not the only one. If the house is silent, no-one has gone anywhere, And we have house dogs. The silence makes my heart stop and blood run cold too many times. The dog now comes running when he hears Me ask the kids
“where’s the dog ?” The same as to his name.
