Monty is coughing/choking almost none stop

LOL Sheep, you're right, she's the ermm 'mischievous' one. The two of them always got into trouble when left together!!
On the other hand though they are also best friends and when we had Monty back home for his first night after being ill we were all very worried. The little one was so worried she wouldn't leave his side. I had managed to get her in bed and Monty was finally sleeping so I went downstairs and made a quick snack. When I came back she had crept back in and fell asleep on the floor protecting her best friend (ignore my charger wires LOL)

Aw geez. I'm sniffling here too.
The "experts" in early childhood development textbooks I had to read when I was in education college said that a child's basic personality was formed by the age of 5. I'd say you've done a great job, Dad, based on this picture...

So great he can manage a little walk, out in the sunshine. Interesting that he's falling over: Tully is doing that too and I've been really worried about it.

Gosh Monty looks so tiny in that photo.

Children that grow up with pets have a better sense of compassion and empathy! Those are several traits I feel are critical for any human!
You are doing a great job , Darren! Monty indeed has found his forever home!

I think it is the exhaustion that makes him fall over. He walks, then slows, pants a little and falls. I just pick him up and carry him, then he's usually ok again after about 10mins resting.

lol I don't think the photos ever really show just how small he is. I still have times where I'm not used to it as my Harley was a big Sheltie. I think it's the fact Monty has a small frame as well, it just makes him small all round. After being sick he's currently 8.9lbs and under 11inches. I think I need to get him back up to just under 11lbs, as he used to be.

He was quite ill and it will take a bit of time to recover, but glad he seems to be on an upward swing Darren! I did laugh at Monty’s weight as Cooper weighed about 8.5 when we first got him a little over 8 weeks old! Monty is a wee boy for sure!

We all look forward to him feeling better so he can return to his mischievous self and we can start hearing new Monty stories to brighten our day! Cheers!!
