Perhaps try giving Monty some pumpkin with every meal, a few tablespoons with each. That should help his bowels and keep his poop firm. Perhaps it's the medication that's causing the runs?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: That is so true I'm sure most people would think we are crazy. They are too smart and a simple NO or DO IT just doesn't cut it with these little guys/gals :lol:

I think it's his antibiotics as he's not used them...or it could just be from all the drugs he has been given over the past few weeks. Hopefully it will sort itself out. Good idea thanks, I'll try a little pumpkin, he's quite fussy at the minute with his food though.

Ok, Ok, Ok, I was jelous about Monty and his book so thought if I jump on the table with Mr Broccoli in my mouth then maybe....just maybe I'll get a Meet Mischievous Darren book. It went wrong though so it's back to sitting in Montys shadow dreaming of what could have been if only I made the jump :ROFLMAO::winkgrin:

Monty should be on probiotics while on the antibiotics.
a couple summers ago, the side of Dixie's face got swollen- the vet wasn't 100% sure if it was dental or a sting but Dixie got antibiotics and the vet recommended probiotics at the same time. I bought the kind that they sold as I was so impressed that it was even mentioned.
the swelling went down in a few days and there weren't any other issues.
