New CD Title!

What a wonderful achievement for you and Gio, Great Video.
Good luck in your future endeavours
Sylvia & our 4 shelties.

Congratulations! And a nice score to boot!

I have to do a double take every time I watch CKC obedience. I always think "hey! the handler forgot to take the leash off for the SFE!" then I remember you all do it a bit differently. LOL:lol:

Nicely done by both of you!!

Slippin' and slidin'

Gio has a bad hind end that often causes trouble with his long sits. With the slippery mats, he is often unable to keep himself in a sit for the required time, and will occasionally slide until he is in a down. Today the obedience Gods were on our side, he didn't have trouble with the mats at all!

Something I forgot to mention in my congratulatory post is, Hunter has that sliding issue also. Pretty common with shelties from what I've been told by my obedience instructors. Something that seems to help is 'Show foot'. Confirmation handlers us it so their dogs don't slip, it works well on mats and concrete floors also. It sprays on, I've found it best applied right before ring time as it makes their feet rather sticky. You can find it online. Hope this helps :smile2:

Congrats GeeRome. A wonderful accomplishment, its a great award for all the work that goes into training.

I've just gotten to watch your video.... and how nice to have a video record, by the way. Congratulations to you and Gio !
