New posts - one way or the other

Old setting/new setting?

Well, that is the problem when you try and to keep up with ALL the threads. :lol:

Regardless of which method we end up using, neither will remember what page you last left off. You will have to tab around if you don't get it right the first time.

The old option only "un-bolded" the thread title when you click on it. This way it at least knows that you did/did not read the last page.

Hmmmm i did not know that. I only recently started using the new post tab.....can i change my vote....lol
 
I agree with Barb. When I go to New Posts, every single thread with a new post in it is visible. If there are threads that I'm not interested in, I would rather just let them disappear. I don't want to have to click "Last Page" to take them off the new post page.

With the old way, I could click New posts, read what I wanted, then click it again.

Do Today's Post under the Quick Links still work the same way as New Post did? I can go that route if they do.

Quick Links is a different option. Look to the left of "Quick Links" & you will see the "New Posts" option instead.

You can click on the quick links from the New Posts tab though. That will clear everything for you if you don't want to read everything.
 
Do I need Indy and bacca, to step in?

They're view would be that Mom got off the damned internet faster with the old way?!
