New Puppy Looks Different

Thank you so much, everyone! Your comments have made me feel that our little guy will soon look like a Sheltie and people will stop making mean comments about him!! :no:

This is a great forum for those of us who truly love this wonderful breed. I'll keep updating the pictures as he (hopefully) grows out of this strange period!!

I love his ears!
My last sheltie had beautiful strong erect ears like that, they were so much a part of her lively alert character.
 
yup looks like a sheltie to me too! They go through weird hair phases until they get their final long sheltie coat, so don't worry. He's a little darling!

I like Buddy's ears, too, but they are so different from our other Sheltie's pretty, dainty little ears!! I'm going to post a link to one of her pictures so you'll know why we've been surprised! :lol:

Awwwww, your Maggie Mae and Buddy are so cute. Buddy is just a sheltie teen-ager, handsome to all of us here.

People making "mean comments" are allowed to be jumped on and barked at by your puppers.
 
Definitely a Sheltie. They all go through that gangly teenage phase...heck, Bacca is 18 months, and he's still all legs and feathers only just coming in. And is most definitely not BYB....though not show himself (too big)
