New puppy... maybe

Our vet said that a standard rule she uses is to double the weight when they're four months old to get a general idea of how big they'll end up. At four months, he was 14.7lbs

Hmmm.. I guess we’ll have an idea at her next appointment. She will be 4 months. I bet she’s around 12 pounds. We’ll see!

He hasn’t quite decided she can’t yet. It’s close to the same. :depressed:

He has decided he’s willing to let her stand up with her two front feet in his back though, if treats are involved.
:ROFLMAO: Spitfire loved Angus for the first week after being alone when Sca died. Then his OCD set in and well Angus was change which is not allowed. A couple more weeks and he decided he was supposed to be here. Now they lay side by side a bunch (Spitfire initiates). Hope Watson figures she is fun soon.

I think he will. I’ve read on other behavior pages to expect 3-5 weeks of growling and grumbling and some warning barks. That’s all we have now. He hasn’t snapped at her and hasn’t touched her. I think he’s adjusting and making sure she knows she’s not going to be allowed to be a pushy puppy.
