Nickname for your dog?

Callahan was Snickerdoodle, Mackie was Macarooooon.
Koko is Koko Puff, Koko le Puff (hubby asked when he became French), or most often Daddy Dog.
Fillion is Baby Boy, Little One, or Puppy Uppy Uppy. Friends call him Fill or Filly but I never do.

Lil' Lady: Diva, Princess, Royal Highness, Dirtball Diva

Lucky: Mr. Lucky, Good Boy, Spunky

I have way too many for Bailey. Here are few: Bailey Boo, Bailey Bear, Boo Boo, Boo Boo Bear, B.B. (for short), Goose and Cookie Monster. I'd say most of the time I call her Boo Boo or B.B.

I used to use the pack name "urchins" for my doggies since so many of them were "street kids" before we adopted them, but then we lost 6 of them to cancer, kidney failure and/or heart failure in just 4 years and I found it too painful to continue calling my little ones "urchins". I really don't have a pack name for our newer babies, but each one does have multiple silly nick names that they know and respond to.

Trini

Cosmo doesn't really have any nicknames, probably because the name Cosmo suits him too much.

Jet, on the other hand... we often call him Jelly (he barks/gets jealous when we play with Cosmo) so he's ended up being called jellybeans too, and nowadays we often just call him Beans. :biggrin2:

I just call my pack "My puppies" (even though the youngest is 5 years old now!)

I don't use nicknames for all of mine (although they do all have middle names, for those times I need to correct them . . . remember when your Mom used your middle name, and you knew you were in trouble ?)

However, I call Piper, "Prima Donna" so much, I am unsure if she knows her real name :smile2:

Jonesie Dream is Wild Child (and that is when she is being on her best behavior :rolleyes2:).

I had one young male foster, whom I dubbed "Captain Urinator", because he was so hard to get housetrained.

Well, we just have the one, but most frequently we refer to her as a Bunny or Bunny Rabbit, and I suspect it would transfer, but as far as nicknames...

Honey Dew -to-> Honey -to-> Honey Bun -to-> Honey Bunny -to-> Buns -to-> Bunny Rabbit -to-> Bunny -to-> snuggle bunny

Random: Princess fluffybutt, snickerdoodle and stinky (when she's gassy)

All of the variations of her name get a response, which impresses me.

Missy most frequently gets called Miss or Missy girl. But sometime when she's being especially silly.. she get's called goof or goofy. Then there's a lot of pretty puppy, pretty girl. When I'm playing with her, I usually go "miss miss miss miss" and it gets her very excited.
