Not a good week...

Poor little Beau. He looks so much like my Mr D, laying into the corner of the couch, it pulls my hear strings.

Btw - do you have another couch or have the dogs taken over? I've only just started sitting on the couch again since Mr D and the cats used to take control of my couch (and chairs) I was often reduced to sitting on the floor!

I have a chair next to the sofa.
Actually, the boys take over the love seat. Very rarely do I get a chance to sit there. Funny how we accommodate their needs over our own!

Good news and bad news...

Yesterday was the last of Beau’s meds. He seemed like 100%. Yesterday he was reading running and playing with Liam for a short time. Since he was running and playing I assumed he was Ok.

He was chipper and bright this morning jumping on my bed to wake me up! He trotted out to do his morning business.

Have been slowly adding his previous food to his meals. 60 canned prescription to 40 dry mixed with FIGI water and two tablespoons of pumpkin.

This morning I transitioned back to his dry food. With the FIGI water and pumpkin

After he came inside and I was drying him off from the rain he threw up a little. Going to contact the vet! I hate setbacks!

Have him a Pepcid AC. So far he has not thrown up again.

:( Sorry to hear this Gloria, even a small setback is a bummer and gets the worry train going again in your head. Hope he is OK. Poor little guy, He is the sweetest and gentlest little furball.

So sorry to hear Beau wasn't feeling good again. Hopefully it was just a one time thing. Did you try the slippery elm? If your giving it for an upset tummy don't give it with his supper, give it an hour or so before a meal. Hope he feels better soon!

He did get the ID canned food and seems to be tolerating it so far. Has not thrown up for lunch or dinner. He likes the food.

You can tell he is still not feeling quite up to par. He sure likes to snuggle with his pillows.

Tender loving care for now...
