Our Sketchie boy, cancer/amputation

Maybe you can convince Sketch that blue is the new black, the pink, well, he'll just have to deal with that, maybe an extra cookie? I know you will keep us posted. :fl :hugs

 Our oldest grandson has a pink tee that says "Real men wear pink"...maybe I should borrow it for Sketchie.

Sketchie agrees on the "extra cookie" idea except he wants an "s" added to the word cookie.

So glad to see that Sketch is on the mend and feeling better! Prayers for him and you that this is the end of his ordeal, and he will have a long and happy life.

Thanks Riky and Judy for the well wishes for our blue boy.

Sketchie received a package today from a friend of our's in MA and I had to laugh when I helped him open it...it contained a fancy blue frosted flower doggie cookie that looked identical to his big blue E-collar! Although Sketch hates the E-collar, he didn't let the similarity ruin his appetite and happily gobbled up his big blue flower cookie.

I am so sorry to hear about Sketch...wow! What an awful thing to happen to such a young dog. I remember him in my prayers.

What an awful thing to happen to your poor boy and to you :hugs It is incredible how quickly dogs adapt to losing a limb and it sounds as if Sketch is already on the road to recovery. Sending best wishes his way from me and the boys.

Trini, sorry to hear about all you've been through recently with your Sketchie. So wonderful that he's adapted so well! He looks like such a sweetheart.

Wishing Sketch a speedy recovery. Miss Lily saw his picture and said to tell him she thinks he's cute and "keep working the flower!"
