Piper news?

I was just thinking about this case and was hoping there'd be an update of some sort. Hard to believe we're coming up on 1 year since all this started (Nationals are only about 4 weeks away).

Like everyone else I'm worried about Piper and where the dog really is. I keep hoping and praying the Judge does what is right in the end.

Thank you so much for posting an update on Piper!

Thank God a vet can see her...

Love the comments on the link you sent!

Fingers crossed and prayers she will be home with he loving family soon!

...Thank God a vet can see her...

I certainly hope a vet CAN see her, but I'm not sure (yet) that this is what was said in these documents. There is a lot in the post and I have not had time to do much more than skim the info. What I remember seeing in the post is the "formal request" on the part of the plaintiffs to have the exam, but I didn't see a "response" from the court. I also have MANY more questions, but they might be answered when I have time to read this entire post.

I have been thinking about her and I hope the vet visit goes through and hopefully Piper will be returned to her mom- hard to believe it has almost been a year.

Update:

The presiding judge has recused himself (defendant motion of disqualification) and a new judge has had to be assigned. Never ends.

I can not help but think this whole thing is a conspiracy!

Why did the judge wait until NOW to recuse himself?

He could not have done that when he first found out the case was assigned to him? :confused2:

Poor, poor, poor Piper! :(
