Lived in Florida too- learned both foreign languages as best I could (Texas and Florida). BTW the fleas in Florida were worse than they were in Texas our dogs like Texas better but one of them did eat a box of decon mouse bait onces-- the vet told us well if he lives till tomorrow that's a good sign but would not do anything but watch him-- no stomach pump etc-- that was a quick to euthanize vet too, glad I am away from that guy.

btw THE DOG WAS FINE AND LIVED A GOOD LIFE AFTERWARD.

tonite is Winnipeg. ANOTHER highway through a city closed down and stuck in traffic :(

Pico was a hit at the hotel. several of the guests were thrilled to play with him, as well as the clerk.

tomorrow is on a river in thunder bay area. we will stop for a hike around 11AM, and then once we check in we can hike around there.

I wish I’d known, you’d have been welcome to stay Cindy! I’m sure Pico would’ve been a hit with my dogs!

Funny thing is I was OK with paying the ticket (especially when he said using cruise control was cheaper than $100 ticket) and was surprised he didn't give me one. especially since it IS the end of the month.. I seem to get a ticket once a decade

You notice you got a ticket once you were out of Canada eh?:lol: I’ve honestly never been pulled over for anything either by the RCMP or city police. Possibly the way they’re funded, they just don’t seem to do the blitzes like small town USA cops do. Of course here we have LOADS of red light cameras and photo radar (they are sneaky)!
 
Canada definitely was a victim of my speeding :)
But Iowa....deserted state highway. literally no cars passed me during the entire traffic stop.
I'm betting the cops are pretty bored.
But nice cop and no ticket. I think he felt sorry for me when I told him I was coming from Thunder Bay Ontario LOL.
it was a long drive....
