Riley, sad news

What dreadful news. I'm so very sorry for you and Riley. Dealing with cancer is devastating. But Riley doesn't know he's sick and is still enjoying life. I hope that continues. I really believe this is harder on us than them, thank heaven. Try to enjoy these days when he feels good and know that we are here to support you. Sending you hugs.

Thank you for all your kind words, they mean more than you can imagine.
Gloria and Chris, thank you for the suggestion of the stroller...I don't know why I didn't think of it!
I went to Amazon.ca and ordered this one
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01BD6UC8Y/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I would've ordered a different one but it wouldn't ship for 3 weeks! This one will be here by next Wednesday.
I want Riley's remaining days to be the best they can be. He's had a hard life, lost his original owner at 5 then the owners mom at 6. I've known him since a pup and he's always been a friendly loveable happy go lucky guy, he deserves to be able to enjoy whatever time he has left.

Back in December I'd posted how Riley had a miraculous recovery, however it's been short lived.
Riley has been steadily declining...more difficulty with stairs, tail low, doesn't arch back when having a poop, stance changed (weight on front legs).
I took him into vet today to do another X-ray and in comparing it to the last one the changes are obvious.
Unfortunately, it's not arthritis but cancer of the spine...my sweet boy is only 11 years old.
I'm so sorry!!!!!

The stroller was absolutely HUGE for Brooke. A real game-changer, because she could still get out with all of us. It made her happy and I think Riley will also enjoy it. Kudos to you for trying to make his remaining time as happy as you can.

Gavin stroller.JPG Can't wait to see some pics of Riley in his new stroller.
Gavin loves his...it really helps him and me feel less confined and limited by his mobility issues.
I never would have though we would be where we are, but he is worth every day!

Good Luck with Riley on his (and your) journey

Making him happy is really all I can do for him. Once I get the stroller I can take him to so many more places, planning on taking him to visit my sister at her trailer (only a 30 minute drive) where we can walk and he can meet lots of people. He's always been a very sociable dog and loves everyone...he'll love it (of course I'll leave the other dogs at home for this).

Love that picture of Gavin!
I'll make sure to take lots of pictures, I have no doubt that Riley will love it!

It even shows pictures of Mr Chance using it as I submitted a review... Best money I ever spent...
