Sally is safe!!!

Sally - you go, girl! I love hearing stories about this sweet senior. Can't wait to hear how the TV spot turns out. Hopefully someone will open their heart and home to this special girl.

Guess what?!!! Sally is going to be on TV! She's going to be the "pet of the day" on the local Fox morning show on 9/25/12. I will post the link for you guys next week. Hopefully she will do ok. I'm not worried about behavior, she's always well behaved. But, she does have an itchy skin allergy. I hope she does not stand there scratching on tv.

Possibly, give her a bath with oatmeal shampoo the night before? (or a baking soda and warm water soak in the tub) either would help with the itching.)

Congratulations, Sally, on going to be the "pet of the day". Hope we can view it on our Fox morning show here in IL.

What a compassionate, well written article on Miss Sally Belle! If that doesn't get her some attention, I don't know what. Loved the pictures of her too.

Carol, I bet you will miss her like crazy when she gets adopted.

I will definitely miss her! I've had 3 other fosters. Each was adopted in less than a month. We've had Sally for 3 1/2 months and have grown much more attached. I've thought a lot about keeping her but, I'd have to give up fostering. 3 dogs is all I can handle at this point in my life. So, I figured I should at least try to find a good home for her. She already has 2 people interested. Can't tell yet how serious they are. We'll see.

Here's Sally on tv with Beth from the rescue. She did great, no scratching. She even got a chance to meet some white tiger cubs backstage. They were on before her. She was thoroughly unimpressed w/ and hardly noticed them! It was such a thrill to see the tv set and all the people I see on tv everyday.
