Sally is safe!!!

The vet said she came through surgery fine. She's awake and doing good. They found 2 more lumps that are just cysts. They will get the results on the tumor in about a week. They went ahead and cleaned her teeth a little for no charge. I'll pick her up in a few hours. Hopefully she will be able to eat a little tonight. I hate for her to have to miss another meal. She's too skinny to skip meals.
 
I am so relieved sweet Sally Belle is okay after her surgery. I hope she eats something too. Maybe she can be encouraged with some tasty chicken? I hope her test results do not find anything serious. Give her a hug from me. Thanks for taking such good care of her, Carol.

Sally Belle is home. She's doing pretty good. She's a little loopy but, getting around fine. The vet said she could only have 1/4 of the food and water she normally has. As soon as she walked in the door she started gulping water. I had to take the bowl away. Poor Sally she's a little upset w/ me. She did eat some food. I'll give her a sip of water in a bit.
 
Oooohhh, bless little Sally. She'll be doing better tomorrow... and not so 'put out' with you Carol... just a scary day for her. Hugs for out little Sally Belle and thank you for the update.
 
Great news! The vet called today and said Sally's tumor was not cancer it was a benign hemangioma. No further treatment is needed. What a relief! She's been feeling good despite having staples in her neck. Her appetite is good and she's happy. She'll have the staples removed in a few days.:fl
 
What a relief to hear that she is going to be okay and that the growth is benign. That was really kind of your vet to clean up her teeth - I'm sure she'll do better now.
