Sheltie lost: Columbus, NJ. Need prayers.

If You're Willing

Please pray for Heidi's safe return. I can't get this little girl out of my head. Every day I log on, hoping to learn that Heidi has been found. I've asked clergy for special prayers, and none of them think it's not important enough. I truly believe that if all of us pray (if that is your belief) or think very positive thoughts for Heidi's rescue, that we can help her find her way home.

Come on, Sheltie nation, let's work together for a miracle!

I haven't said very much on this thread but I have been following it closely and praying for your little girl's safe return.

Not Home for the Holidays!

Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year to ALL!!! I am sorry to inform everyone that I still have not found my beloved Heidi. Christmas this year was a truely blue one. We did decorate a small tree, cut from my yard, and decorated it with blue and white lights, and small oraments of Heidi. A 2nd grader told my cousin " Don't be sad, Santa Clause will bring Heidi home. He does things like that, you know!" When I was told this, I just cried. But then I thought, that maybe she knew something I didn't. So I too wrote a letter to Santa, asking for Heidi's return. I have done everything else, what could it hurt. Santa couldn't find Heidi either. But on a more happier note, my husband and I have opened our hearts, and our home to a new Sheltie named Angie. She is a rescue. Her owner had to surrender her because she is forclosing on her home, and just released from the hospital after a mild stroke. Barbara (Burlington Co Animal Alliance) who has been helping with the search for Heidi, contacted us about Angie situation. After my husband and I discussed the situation, and slept on it over night, we both agreed to take her in. My heart had a conflict... Is this giving up on Heidi, is it fair to her to bring in another dog ( Heidi doesn't like other dogs). But the other half of me felt that if I don't get Heidi back, I walked away from helping this poor dog. Angie is a 2 yo female sheltie. She is starting to open up to us, and settling in to her new life. She has given me the love that I miss so much from Heidi, I will "NEVER STOP LOOKING" for Heidi. Heidi now has a sister. To add insult to injury, my husband lost his job 12/10. What a bad month for us. But Angie has given us hope, that things will get better, and I still believe that I will find Heidi. I just want everyone to know that your prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement have keep us going. It means so much to us! Thank You! God Bless You!!!

Hi Heidi's Mom! I was hoping that Heidi would be home. We all know that you are not giving up on Heidi and neither are we. I hope that someone has her safe and they just haven't seen the flyers. I hope that she finds her way back to you soon. She will love her new sister even if she didn't like dogs before. She will know that you wanted to help this new sheltie and it will be great! My thoughts and prayers are still with you and your husband.

Thank you Heidi's Mom and Dad!

Opening your heart and home to this little lady, Angie is extremely kind and generous of you, especially when you are still searching for your little lost Heidi. She will now have a sister waiting for her to play with and I just know that Heidi will be tolerent of her because she will be so glad to be home with you and your hubby.:wink2:
