I'm sure she will rest well tonight and by tomorrow will be doing much better with all the treatments.

Nothing worse than not knowing what is wrong. Frustrating and I know how you feel.
Hoping for the very best for your beautiful Scout. Why don't you double check the ingredients in the dog food, just to see what you can see.

sorry to hear that Scout is not feeling well and that there's no good diagnosis yet. hoping the vet can figure it out......

Oh gosh! How is Scout now? Any news?? I cannot believe that the vet does not have someone on-staff in the office overnight when furry friends are staying. Hearing that would worry me terribly!! At least if she were home, you could keep an eye on her. Keeping paws crossed for her!!
I'm waiting to get a call from the tech that will go in to do a final check for the evening. I was also surprised that no one comes in at least once more before morning. The vet said the worst thing that could happen is that she knocks the catheter out and disrupts the fluids until morning.
I am having a hard time knowing she's there alone, but trying to convince myself that she is so exhausted (and drugged up with the anti-nausea meds) that she will sleep well tonight. The vet was confident that she would rest and be fine, so I will trust that.
Tomorrow morning can't get here fast enough so that they are all back in the office.
