Great advice from everyone, Jessica. We've brought in numerous puppies to our pack, and every single one -- whether puppy or grown -- takes time for adjustment. Some take longer than others. You need patience and, as others have said, to be calm with both pups. Don't worry about making them interact. If you have to keep them separated, do it. Eventually, Smudge's curiosity and playfulness will get the better of him and he won't be able to stand not playing with this little bundle of fun! Trust me on this.
Meantime, just get through the night, get organized with supplies tomorrow, and all will be well. And CONGRATULATIONS! Multiple Shelties are the best, honest! Enjoy her!!

I'm not off work for another four days. Boy am I tempted to call in and catch a few more zzzzzzz!
. but nope u really got another puppy! how exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. hopefully it wont take smudge to long to get use to fluffy.it'll take time but eventually things will fall into place and it will be as if shes always been there! and yes we must we pictures as soon as you get a chance.
