On topic - I think he looks fine. I say give it a week and see if there are any changes. You do have the pics as references. Also, I agree with looking to see if the eyes were different from each other.
Off topic - I took a picture of Abbie the other day and I swear I accidentally took a picture of Smudge!

Funny thing, is that I see the resemblance on only one side of her face. She has a lop-sided blaze. It is cute.

They may or may not share a love of french fries.
I'm sure she would LOVE french fries (though to my knowledge, she hasn't had one). She loves all food and will pull off a hot brownie pan from the counter, a pan of risotto, a bag of powdered sugar... *sigh* Learning to live with a dog that can reach the counter is very educating. The oven has become a safe haven for food during diner, while it is cooling before it gets put in the refrigerator (or put onto someone's plate as seconds).
