Throwing up

Yes, I'm frustrated because I asked my DH to find out where the mass/blockage was, but he didn't. He said the vet noted two "unusual" spots on the x-ray.

That was my thought...that if it was in the intestine, shouldn't they have gone to surgery right away? Isn't it getting seriously worse just by sitting there?

The more I think about it...I wonder if it isn't a big ball of leather wrapped around a piece of metal. Because even if he did eat the clasp, it couldn't have been very big.

I'm so worried!

I am so sorry to hear that Bentley is sick.

I will keep you guys in my thoughts that it isn't too serious and that the vet can figure it out for you tomorrow.

He is doing okay today. Last night he was feeling better (no throwing up) and even played with Lexi some.

He woke up around 3 this morning and coughed a few times (dry heave?) but nothing came up.

I fed him around 7 and he was eating really slowly, which is very unusual. He would take a piece in his mouth (one at a time!) and chew it up for a long time, then slowly swallow it. Poor buddy. The vet said to continue feeding him, but I don't think I'll feed him dinner tonight. It was too sad to watch.

He hasn't pooped since Friday.

We take him in tomorrow at 9...and I was instructed not to feed him that morning. Something tells me he will go into surgery then. My poor buddy :(

Just a Thought:

What about possibly giving him some chicken baby food? It would be easier for him to eat and digest at this time.

Hoping for a speedy recovery. I will be thinking about you tomorrow morning.
Thoughts and prayers for you and Bentley.

No luck tonight.

He has not thrown up since Saturday morning, and hasn't pooped since Friday morning.

But, he has been eating. Tonight he had bread for dinner. I'm worried...he has a lot of food in his system just sitting there.

I really hope that tomorrow morning after the x-ray that they are ready to go in and get whatever it is that's causing this. I don't want to wait any more!

UGH....the fear of the unknown. I really really hate that feeling. I will be thinking about you, Ashley, and please keep us updated on how tomorrow goes.
