Tully's not doing well

Thanks. Tully's not good this morning. I know she's nauseaous because she's eating grass (and nothing else) but not sure if she's also in pain. Back to the ER to get a Cerenia shot.

Can you get the pain patch for her since they did not give it to you before?

Gah, still no pain patch. Just a Cerenia shot and Ondansatron wafers. That trip to the ER was really hard on her. Atm she's just sitting outside in the sun, hope that makes her feel a little better. In the meantime I'll be cleaning up the poop - both the other dogs did one on the carpet in the lounge, even tho there's a peed pad there. Grrr

How Tully doing today Caro?

Tully wasn't too bad during the day - slept most of it away. But she did eat some dinner which is good as she's lost more weight so that meant to nausea meds worked. But tonight she's not doing as well, and I wonder if that's the lack of steroids that's doing it. Nightime is when our own steroids decline, and Tully's Pred was reduced pretty abruptly.

I locked puppy and Della up for a while so Tully and I could have some time together - which just ended up being time asleep on the couch together.

You might very well be right about the steroids and her appetite. I'm a bit encouraged by your update though. She is really a tough little dog and has such a fighting spirit. Have you tried an appetite stimulant? I can't remember the drug name but I know there is one.

Hope you had a wonderful cuddle/nap with your girl.

It's good to see that Tully is eating and at least had a kind of good day. Hopefully the nights can get easier soon and you both can get some rest. Tully is such a strong girl, if anyone can get through all this it's Tully :hugs
