Welll...the shelties killed a rabbit,but Earnhardt is not sharing~

Yes,the thought of him eating the whole blasted thing, even now churns my stomach.Head and all....yewwww.
I'm mostly immune to that as growing up we owned a large moggie who was a very good hunter. When you've found dead rats in the bathroom and regularly been greeted in the mornings by a headless disemboweled mouse you start to feel less shocked about it.

Tigs had a mouse the other day which she was chomping the head off. Cadbury, bless him, hasn't got a clue about that stuff. He still believes food , even the raw stuff, has to come from the fridge:lol:

My cat got a mouse last week. I took it away from him as I was thinking of tapeworms but I gave him a treat for his efforts. Diva and Ember got all excited but only because Tanner was running around the basement(unfinished) where they aren't allowed to go. Not because of the mouse.

Zeek the killer of all things wild caught a rabbit and mostly ate it. He would come home and bounce on the front door to be let in. Well you guessed it bounce on the door and my sister-in-law (not at that time) opened the door and he sat there proud to share...... a rabbit head dangling by the ears from his mouth  She would have nothing to do with him for a while after that and everyone loved zeek.

No ill effects yet...only GAS!

Lordie me...this dog may be sleeping on the sunporch tonite.:eek2:

We have been letting him out to potty by himself, and watching which direction he heads to to do his buisness. still no loose stools..but I'll tell you,he has passed some gas that would clear the room in seconds...

IT WAS THE EASTER BUNNY and Earnie ate his rotten eggs to :eek2:

Ah Michele, I don't envy you tonight.
Our shelties have wrestled rabbits away from our killer cat Jack. I've taken the rabbits from them and disposed of them...but I'm sure at some point I'll find Emma happily chomping her free-range RAW meal. Jack likes to bring his prey up onto the deck to munch on it and if we happen to let the dogs out without noticing that he is eating alfresco then mayhem ensues....generally with Emma ending up with the carcass.

None of the shelties were interested in touching the possum that Jack killed. They barked and sniffed and backed up. Alan wouldn't mess with it either, I was the one to go out and take care of it!:dead:

Well ya'll here is "killer" as he has been dubbed since yesterday! He is comfy sucking on one of the squirrels that go to the "hide a squirrel" toy. Brian could'nt resist taking the picture.

As for Earnie today,he is doing just fine,no loose poo's.But we are keeping him on differant schedules from going outside from the others, and quickly picking up poops so the pups don't get the notion to..well you know...~:dead:

They will all be wormed,to be on the safe side. But he handled his raw breakfast with no problems.

He was hungrey last night at supper time, but we did not feed him.Decided we would follow the suggestion from Clantyresheltie and let his stomach settle, just in case we were going to have issues. He's doing fine~
