Who's the boss in your house?

I seriously almost cracked a rib I was laughing so hard at that. :lol: I should have known it would be your kitteh!
 
Mom was - now I think it's Emma - Dad and I just go along with her when she decides what has to be done at a certain time and on a certain schedule - 10:00 - cookie, 12:00 - lunch, 3:00 - cookie, 5:00 - supper, 7:00 - cookie, 7:20 - outside for the last time of the day.

I am really not sure about rankings within our pack. I know that Duncan is on bottom, but Pierre and Abbie haven't decided who of them is really top dog. Abbie adores Pierre and will often try to engage in play, while Pierre ignores her existence (most times). Sometimes Abbie will snarl to keep a toy or will snarl through her crate if being food protective (hence crating for the meal). Pierre generally avoids Abbie but is doing less of that lately. I guess I'd have to re-investigate in a few months.
 
Tofu Pup, I remember a day when MMM was still quite young and we were down visiting your mum and getting ears done.

MMM went out in the yard to play for a minute with the dogs and he body slammed Annie. You are so right, no snarkiness from that ol' gal, she just turned and looked at him and if she could have spoken, she would have said, "Young man, do you not remember who I am?" His ear flattened down as much as he could make them and then he ran away and attacked Sophie!

Annie definitely rules the roost, quietly and with dignity.
 
I am most definitely the boss of our house hold. :biggrin2:

I'm not sure who's second, Sadie or Ginny. Ginny likes to boss Sadie around, but then again Sadie lets her, so maybe that makes Sadie my second in command. I treat Sadie like she's higher ranking than Ginny.

Poor DH, he comes in last. All of us women let him think he's second in command, but we know the truth. :lol:
 
I think it goes in this order: Me, Bailey, BF... and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't argue with that either :wink2:

As far as dogs go... I think Cali the chihuahua is top dog. A bossy chihuahua, shocking! I've seen her get mad if she is not the first dog in or out of the house. The other dogs don't really seem to respect her as the boss though. I haven't seen Bailey do anything to make me believe she is the boss. If I throw a ball at the dog park, she will run with the other dogs to get it, but will stop and let them pick it up. Then she chases them back.

I laughed! What a typical Annie story. She is just the best - keeps the household calm and orderly, no excessive force, just firm and fair.

But she has definitely given me the "Young lady, do you not remember who I am?" look, too! :lol:
 
DH is the supreme "Who's your Daddy" in our house!!! Annie Laurie is the referee, but Bits is the Alpha to end all Alphas!!!!:lol:
