You didn't warn me...

What I think is cute about Shelties is how they always have to be in the same room as you. Buffy's my shadow, and my childhood Sheltie Abigail was as well. Often you don't even realize they are in the same room, because they are so unobtrusive.

The other thing I think is funny and cute is how Buffy likes to nap on the hardwood floor. Like right in the middle of the hardwood floor. I guess she has a built-in bed! She has a perfectly good bed in every room, but she only uses those half the time.... the rest of the time she just chills on the floor, usually on her side. And then if I come near she rolls over on her back for a tummy rub. It's a surefire way to get me to smile, every time. :biggrin2:

YES Crouton is the same exact way! She follows me into every room, and she also has a bed in every room and still prefers the hardwood floor. Not just that but also on her side in the very middle of the most high traffic area where she wants everyone to walk around her. She definitely won't roll over on her back though.

You have to in the middle to see :wink2: If Sca leaves the bed at night he almost always goes to a spot in the hall that sees every room in the house. Better to keep an eye on your flock he tells me.

haven't been able to sit properly at my desk since I got Toffee.
He just is forever underfoot, literally... I have not been able to stretch out my legs or feet under my desk since that pic was taken, he's pretty big and takes up that whole cubbyhole now, lol
I wouldn't have it any other way :biggrin2:

Justice does the same thing. If he leaves at night it is to go lay on the upstairs landing at the top of the stairs. Better to keep an eye on everyone.

I have not entered a room by myself in almost 9 years. Only olace mine don't follow me is into the unfinished basement and that is because I have taught them to not go down there.(no dogs allowed)

Funny how they like to be underfoot. I have Zak at my feet when at the computer desk or he is right behind me. Some times at night I have caught him sleeping in our bedroom door way keeping his eyes on everything.
Today I was out front putting down new pine straw and had the front window open and everynow and then I would see his face looking at me. It was so darn cute.
