    Affordable open tunnel?

Oh ok. They have the new ones that are supposed to be able to withstand the weather. They are still pretty inexpensive. My instructor gave me a tunnel she was gonna throw away and I put some duct tape on it but now it's really falling apart so I'm going to order a tunnel from NTI soon.

    Sheltie Coat Question

He's adorable, congrats! I'd say he's now looking like a sheltie/border collie mix to me. Make sure you get that boy a job! Doesn't have to be agility, but I bet he'd make a great agility dog.

    AKC Agility Nationals

Yep I'll be there. Don't know why, but I'm not really feeling it right now. This is kinda how I felt on November 30th driving up to DreamPark when it was the last day I could qualify(and obviously I did). Kinda feeling blah or emotional or something instead of nervous. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Going to my first UKI trial tonight!

The courses were difficult but not impossible. I loved the challenge of it all. Also, I love that you can choose to run, "Not for competition" as long as you let the judge and the score table know before you run. They can close the gates for you if you choose, and you get the full SCT to train...

    Leg Lifting

I've never had one ounce of problems with my guys. I just had Granite neutered a few weeks ago, but he's never lifted his leg in my house. Now he lifted his leg in my friends house though :biggrin2:

    Warning about xylitol

Yep, years ago my Smokey got up on our dining room table and ate a whole LARGE pack of Trident. Luckily I caught it within 5 minutes and we used peroxide to get him to bring it all back up. For a while it seemed that gum companies were moving away from xylitol to sorbitol but I guess with the...

    Westminster Agility

I totally agree. I think there should've been a much more stringent acceptance policy. I think that perhaps it should've at least been a random draw of people who were qualified for Nationals(4 QQs and 500pts) so you know that the dogs at least would run the course and not walk up to a jump and...

    'New' handling methods

I read your posts and say, "wow! sounds like Trax." Then I remember Trax and Koji are related :biggrin2: You know I've had to walk Trax of so many times. Actually I walked him off last week! The day after he QQ'd :wink2: But I wanted to tell you! If you haven't been to a UKI show yet, GO! You...

    'New' handling methods

Love it! Don't get me wrong, I have worked on these moves lately because the courses are getting tighter and more technical and in order to be a competitor we have to have better time, but I don't subscribe to any of the fancy $5000 per class nutballs. Perhaps some people don't like the...
