Yes, you did well with the ears. I'm still thinking about giving one last try with Bacca, but everytime I think about hauling out the glue and the moleskin, I suddenly get a fit of laziness!
As for the photos....the beauty of digital! So many rejects that noone but me ever sees! Getting the boys to "pose" is a trick. The fact is I can't. I either lurk around corners with camera in hand trying to catch them being cute or wait for them to be too tired to bother. Otherwise, as soon as I bring out the camera, they both instantly run up close to me and push their snouts into the lens! I think I'm going to need to a "macro lens" if I'm ever going to get good shots of the silly boys!
Post-op! Boys are driving me crazy! Today is a gorgeous winter day by Canadian standars - about 32 degrees and sun coming and going. The boys have whining all day to go out and play together, but I can only let them out one at a time. Bacca keeps trying to do more than he should and doesn't get it when I tell him to settle. His incision looks a little pink and I'm watching it close. For some reason the vet put "staples" instead of dissolvable sutures and it looks very freakish to me.
And you are so right about the prance! Bacca has exactly the same gait! When we were at puppy school in the late fall and he did his "thing", all the other owners would actually clap!
One other thing I noticed today about Bacca....he's probably only about 1/2 inch taller than Indy at the whithers, but his neck is so much longer than when they stand side by side, his head is probably a good 1-2 inches taller. I'd have to take a look at the standard to see if that's a good thing or not.
p.s. Pixie is such a doll!
