A continuing Sca-ga

Well bath number one is done. He was NOT happy about it. The white on white comes out purple but never really turned white on him. Of course once out of the tub he was thrilled with the towel off idea. Then taking his damp kinky haired self out to the living room and zooming for a while was fun also. The Ice on Ice post bath brushing was barely tolerated. We went to Mom's for a review of his white but she was not there so we went home. In the yard I was on pooper scooper patrol while he protected us from the dreaded plastic bag that had blown into the fence. Then there was battle to be had with the new pooper scooper that was leaning against HIS house :eek2:

It took a four day weekend but I finally wore him out :biggrin2: We watched some track video and after about 30 seconds of watching the screen (and sound) he just laid down for a snooze.

SheepofBlue, you seem to have the nicest relation with Sca. I can just see the two of you hanging out together! I love this thread!

Best buds! Well except for about 5 minutes after he got power cord #2

I look forward to the day he has run of the house. Right now he would tear a LOT up and my computer room has lots of things that would be bad to chew and/or swallow.

He has figured out the garage is not haunted and how to go up steps. He could have run of my room but he still thinks wood is a good thing to semi-chew, I might wake up on the floor with the bed just a mattress :eek2:. Though he is terrible going down and at times kind of butt serfs them . Oh and I added an album at the suggestion of Smudge so there is a kinky haired picture  The caption on one is prescient so call me Sheepadamus.

McKinley still thinks the cellars are haunted but he is extremely curious about them. That is one of the things that I love about MMM. He has fear of things but yet he understands  the only thing he has to fear is fear itself. He overcomes fears on his own which I think is remarkable and says something for his character.

Power cord #2 around here got spliced back together!

So my brother stopped by to get some brake tools (forgot his key though) and had to get attacked by the tricolored missile (yes he encourages it) He was amazed that Sca can get up almost waste high and is FAST :biggrin2: He called to see if I had a key hidden and said that animal control was across the road. Likely called by my psycho bitter of a pill neighbor. He wasn't really sure what was going on other than they were trying to catch a Shepherd. Not sure if she called or what but she is a pain and has complained in the past to me about a dog that wasn't even mine (he was running the fence with Dow). I told her if she had a complaint he lived there (pointing out back to his house) well she kept nagging ME until I told her to pound sand  So you can see she can't be trusted as a good neighbor.

So all that rambling said I decided to put Sca's collar back on and add his rabies tag to it. BIG mistake! Someone decided he can bend his neck enough to chew on the tag :eek2: I finally took his collar back off. Any ideas other than have him be tag free?

is it a metal tag- can't imagine that would feel good to chew on. You could always do the tape method mentioned recently to keep tags from discoloring the white ruff :smile2:

I figured he would give up after a second but he left some pretty healthy marks in the annodization before I took his collar off. He can be determined  We did have a session of sheep/bull fighting that he enjoyed. I was on my hands and knees head butting him. He got zooming pretty good. He would alternate between running behind the chair I was next to or banking off it and across my back to get by that section (really pretty slick move on his part). He is a jumping fool which worries me a bit based on what I read in the agility books :( but he pretty much jumps for no reason.

He sounds like a ton of fun!!! Maia is a jumper too, always has been and I love it. I used to worry about it too, but there is nothing I could do to stop it really. I did not 'make' her, she just loves to jump and run.

And alas, the neighbours... I think most of us have one of those. I don't trust one of my neighbours either, so am extra careful and never leave the dogs alone for too long out side without checking in on them, or sitting by the window keeping my eye on them if they are in the front yard.
