Another visit but still not eating and now has very runny diarrhea. Now I think I know why. The surgeon put Deska on a cephalosporin, I told her he gets upset tummy and diarrhea from them, her view was they are the best AB for gallbladder and it's a 3rd generation one. But obviously whatever generation makes not difference. Deska is a bag of bones and I want him to eat. I told the nurse about it and she was a bit rude and I don't know if she told the specialist (who was in surgery). I want them to try another AB and see if he will eat if his tummy isn't upset.
Didn't get much time with him tonight. They said come at 4.30pm, then I got there they said I only had 10min because they wanted to do meds. Took him outside to toilet and then cleaned up his butt (must have pooed in cage) had a cuddle and time to go.
But there are a few positives. Deska smiled. He stood outside and enjoyed the breeze. He went up to a young man for pats (wanted a butt rub but blah, pooey bum). The cats are much happier as they got a walk this morning - in the rain but they were determined. Tully enjoyed her visit to the new mental health hospital (the old one transferred there).
Tomorrow morning I have a gardener coming. I hope to get her started and then leave her to go to vet. I really want to see specialist asap about the AB.
I wish I could sleep properly, getting quite bad night cramps from meds. I am so physically weary. Tully is absolutely stuffed too - but lucky her is flaked out sleeping on the floor.
