Oh Becky I'm just so happy for you and Dakota !! Prayers remain with Dakota that this Tumor continues to shrink and be gone !! Thank you Dear Lord and St. Francis please continue to watch over Dakota as he continues his Chemo. My prayers remain and God Bless.:biggrin2:

Hey!! Just wanted to let everyone know that Dakota is scheduled to go back to the specialist this Thursday for his 3rd dose of chemo. Dakota has lost part of his appetite..but that was to be expected (potential side effects). He is still eating some, drinking tons of water, and playing like normal. The meds give him a metallic taste in his mouth...so it is hard to find something he really really likes. Any ideas/thoughts would be helpful :yes:!!! Hopefully the tumor has reduced/disappered in size. I would like everyone to remember Dakota and our family in your prayers....as we all become anxious everytime we take him in!! I will update everyone on Thursday! Hope everyone is doing well!
 
I was just wondering how Dakota was doing. Don't know if he is taking pills or liquid but Justice doesn't like pills(he'll start shaking his head and foaming at the mouth as soon as I open the pill vial) but I had good luck with the pill pockets they form around the pills and he can't seperate them. Plus they smell really strong and he can't smell the pills as easy. Good luck with your appt. Your in my prayers.
 
Already tried the pill pockets!! Dakota smelled it and then walked away!! The problem is Dakota likes to take food and pull little pieces off to eat it. He has never been one to swallow anything whole. He will even take his dry food and take tiny little bites off....and he is 45 pds. Go figure :) We feel like we have ruined food for him because we are having to hide pills in them. The only liquid meds they gave us was a mild pain killer. Thats no problem...its just giving him pills. Since he has lost some interest in eating it is a whole lot harder to give him his daily pill.
