Dog Wheelchair

This morning around 6:45AM Gavin tried to get on the bed...he couldn't make the last ramp and ended up turning around and going back to his bed :( broke my heart a little and I was tempted to go lift him up. wonder how often that happens throughout the night. Now, he was up multiple times last night so he isn't deprived :)

Seriously, my dog has a better life than a lot of people in the world and country.
As we are gettign ready for a leisurely stroller ride to the baseball diamonds so Gavin can see some green (if the fields have done being re-sodded) and then walk up the bike bridge!
 
Aw at least he can still make it up his ramp, he just needs a couple trial runs first. Honestly he couldn't have a better life with anyone else Cindy!!

No one is going to tell me what to do or not do for my dogs!

At my sister's party there was a friend there (she doesn't own a dog, not sure why she was invited!) who went to brush the fur off her black pants when Piper brushed past her....really...it's a dog party, why are you here?:ROFLMAO:

My bed ramp is in 2 parts. a alonger more gently angled ramp to multiple carpeted IKEA side tables that is along the wall. then a right turn to my bed, with a short more aggressive ramp. I have thought about letting him just jump, but since the bed has a foam pad I think it wouldn't be sturdy enough for him considering his leg issues. Sometimes the short ramp causes him issues....his good rear leg just kind of collapses. Probably happens a fair ammount, I'm just normally asleep!

But he ddi make it on the couch today so no worries!

I had a bed warmer last night too and it made me think of Gavin!

Fortunately after about 30 minutes Finnie decided to move to the other side at the foot.
The prime real estate on my bed is at the head on the other side, it's like the front seat of the car and last night Piper snagged it first. I feel bad for Finnie lol but I'm not going to make Piper move either lol.
