It was raining last night, and Gavin was being a pain. He wanted a walk, but it was pouring. He went in my backyard and just stood in the rain! He does surprise me with unexpected energy when I least expect or want it. I know I should celebrate it, but last night I was exasperated! last night he went through the recycling and then this morning, he decided to eat a napkin. sigh...I love my little old man

Funny that Beau just wanted to sleep outside and the only way I could get him to come in is if I say COOKIE! Little brat...

I wish I could do that! I have to SHOW him the treat. So if he isn't looking at me....
I have started to give him gabapentin in the evenings as needed (if he won't settle or his leg seems weaker than normal).
But it is hard to believe he is 15....such a happy old guy who loves his popcorn! I ordered a huge pack from amazon just so I can make it more often for him (and me)

I guess the older they get just like us when they want something they want it now!
I had both Piper and Finnie on the treadmill this morning (bitter cold here) and Piper kept nudging my leg as he walked...his way of saying Am I done yet? They have ways of trying to tell us something lol

I order way more now with the pandemic as well as curbside pickups at Walmart...when I work I don't always have time to go to the store. With you working from home Cindy you probably don't go out much at all.

Oh, I am not working from home. I am in at least 3 of every 4 weeks, often more.
Keeps me sane, cause that is my ONLY face to face personal interaction right now.
I just avoid going into stores as much as I can!
I do live a block from a grocery store so I do pop in for quick trips of 5-10 things early in the morning but for more it is curbside pickup.

My company went public and I got my first dose of the covid vaccine.
Nothing new to report. Unless you count being woken at 5AM by a retching doggie (too much grass).
Our life is pretty boring, tbh. seems winter is over here in NorCal.
walks during the week, and we still go to the beach on the weekends, though.

today was soo windy out, that when I was walking Gavin next to his stroller (He can manage a few minutes before he gets tired), the wind pushed the stroller back! This stroller is so much lighter than the first one we had that the wind was having a field day. Gavin loved the wind, though, it's his natural habitat

So I did not see this coming.... the past 2 weeks or so my left elbow has been acting up. I was really confused, but I figured it out. I have been using Gavin's stroller more, and for longer walks. The push bar on this stroller is higher than my older one, and creates stress on my elbow when I am pushing it! Thankfully the height is adjustable, so hopefully I can minimize the pain in future.
