So many people think less of older dogs..think of them more as a burden since they don't play and run and jump like young pups.
Gavin just warms my heart when he jumps on the couch to be with me, or jumps on the bed to sleep with me, because I know it would be easier for him not to and it really means he wants to be with me.

I have to say that seniors have my heart. No way can a young pup compare. Yes, I love Liam and his goofiness... but, give me a seniors calm sweet and devoted temperament and demeanor because that wins me over every time! Cherish that boy of yours. He is one in a million!!! You can see the devotion in that face.

Don't think for one second he does not appreciate everything you have done for him over the years. Your love and devotion to each other makes me smile.
