Spunk is certainly the right word! Gavin has s like the energizer bunny! He is visiting everyone at the beach and he wants to tell everyone about it! You go, Gavin!

He is soo tired after a beach visit..he sleeps all day. and it was the one evening a week when he NEVER visits me on the bed at night. he sleeps the night through without climbing up his ramp to see me.
even before he got hurt he was wiped out by beach day and would sleep the whole day. but then he was running around for 2 hours. with his cart he gets just as tired while covering much less ground now.

The fact that he is mobile is such a blessing...
When Mr. Chance got older he was not mobile hardly at all we had to resort to a stroller.
As long as Gavin is mobile and loves to interact with others I think it keeps his spirits up.
Sleeping soundly just means he had a great day and can rest and recover.
You won't give up on him and he will not give up for you. The true test of the love between you two!

He had such a happy day at the beach He really gets to interact with people and dogs more than fort funston. And people love him, especially when he nuzzles in for pets.
I don't know how much of Gavin's wonderfulness I can claim as being down to me, but I can't be a total loss as a human being if I raised such a fabulous dog!
