First Puppy!!!

Congratulations! I really respect my Melli in a way I don't with the boys. You will find a girl to be more serious and adult and absolutely your very best friend. I truly realized that when I stopped trying to baby Melli, our relationship strengthened. However, she still gets to have a rhinestone collar and purple everything which is fun!

Can't wait to see more pix as she grows up.
 
Congratulations, how very exciting! She is just precious...what a face! We love our boy Barkley but my four girls are just special...independent, opinionated but so loving. You will enjoy having one! :yes:

I am very excited to have her home with me tomorrow :)

The breeder's theme for this litter is Midsummers Night Dream, her name is Titania. I will be keeping it since I like it and will be shortening it to Tani probably :)
 
So I messed up with the names, my girl is Hyppolita not Titania (that's the other tri girl)

She's already registered under that name and I'll leave it like that, her call name however will be Kali (like the Indian goddess).

I picked her up today and the breeder gave me a binder with ALL the docs/info/contract/misc. She was mostly good in the car, it's only a 15 min. drive, but still whined a bit. At home she's been a DREAM, no whining or crying so far (12:45AM). I took her out to pee at around Midnight so hopefully she'll sleep through the night :) Peed twice but no #2 :( should I be concerned?

She only ate a little too, I thought it might be all the stress from today so Im hoping she'll eat better tomorrow.

Loki, my cat, reacted wonderfully. He smelled her, very curious and interested. I don't think it will take too long before he's in the pen playing with her <3

Overall, great day so far, let's hope she lets me sleep.

That is so exciting that Kali is home with you. Lots of changes for the little one to suddenly be without her liter mates and her Mom, but she will settle in just fine. Enjoy!!! :smile2:

Perhaps thinking... you little fluffball are why I had to have a bath!

I'm starting to think there is no such thing as a sheltie puppy who is not unbelievably cute and I'm kind of bummed we missed out on the wee little puppy cuteness with Watson!

For some reason, I love her little paws in those pictures... just so small and that quizzical look she has... she actually looks a bit like Watson's mother in her markings.
 
When CHIP came home

Our drive home was about 3 hours. Chip vomited twice I think. We decided to put a "Dog Hammock" in the back seat of the car, it worked beautifully.

Chip is growing so fast, he will be 6 months old tomorrow. My wife attended to the sleepless nights for the most part. She says it was just like having another baby. I tease her to this day because when we leave the house she cannot wait to get back home to CHIP.
