It melted the day after! It's been resonable fall weather. mostly 50s during the day. Gavin was pottering all over the yard today, watching the neighbors on all sides.

That's it - you need a house with a yard. Just so easy to come by in the Bay area, and reasonable too.... NOT!

He really walked all over the yard today. He'd move a little bit, lay down and chill, then move a bit, lay down and chill again, etc, etc.
He eventually made it up to the driveway and I came out and helped him in. now he isn't happy when I leave his line of vision
silly boy...but I am happy he is so active. people underestimate him because of his bad leg, but he does really well as long as he isn't on linoleum or other slick flooring.

It’s a perfect trip for Gavin…a nice big yard, another human to spoil him, and being there with his person! What a treat to see him so happy.
