Meadow has arrived

We had a milestone! Meadow met 8 Collies yesterday, one at a time! Our friend who does Collie rescue was OK with us coming by and being in his front courtyard. She started off pretty scared and hid behind my legs - first time I've seen her do this or be scared of anything, actually. But she got braver and braver, and by the 4th dog she started trying to engage them in play. she particularly liked a female Tri color. They are all very sweet senior dogs so it was a wonderful experience for her. We will try again in a week or so.

Here she is with their biggest boy.

LOVE that photo Sharon, she looks so tiny! Awesome to see how brave she is, it looks like you've got a little Monty in the making!

God help me! :ROFLMAO: Although, she is definitely showing signs of being a mountain goat like her mother is. 9 weeks old and trying mightily to climb up on the sofa, her crate, a chair..... yikes. The breeder sent me a hilarious video of her mother up on top of their jacuzzi......:uhoh:

LOL if her mother is anything to go by then you are in for a fun ride with Meadow haha. Don't forget to post pics when she starts climbing on tables, counter tops and fridges

Wow, she looks so tiny, but lovely.

Well guess who had her first taste of cat poop just now? :ick I had let the cat out, then Meadow, and was watching her from my big garden window in the kitchen. Got busy for a minute, then looked again, and she had found the hole in the wire fencing we have around my roses. It's where Mario likes to do his business and that's great, normally the dogs can't get in there. But she is cat sized so squeezed through. I went out right away and retrieved her, she gave me a couple of quick kisses on the face and I knew. EWWWWWWWWW. SIGH, the 7th in a series of Shelties that just can't resist cat turds.
