Merled Eyes?

In the meantime, I put some "eyes" on my site so that you can see varying degrees and colors of blue. The first set, her left eye, has what I expect your breeder could be talking about. Now....all of mine are blue 'cause I don't have one of them "brown dogs" But the blue eyes are the same.

Ah, on that final note, make sure that your breeder seperates her for a couple of nights before you bring her home.

She should be used to a couple of nights on her own, with no siblings, etc. otherwise you will get many sleepless nights yourself. And alot of heartache for her.

She will adapt better to being on her own at the breeder's house then being on her own for the first time at your place.

I think the breeder does that. She really was a wealth of information on the phone and it sounded like she was really strong in socialization skills for the pups. It was a really good thing that Ellie was born before all the holidays. She has really met a lot of people!

Skyler has merle eyes. it was very noticable when i got him at 12 weeks old.

Me too, me too, me too!!! I "am" the "house of blues" LOL no "brown dogs" here I think the sables are gorgeous, but nothing compares to a beautiful blue merle...and my preference is with a nice dark blue eye!

I guess we all have our preferences for color, that's evident! Thank you so much for photos of the merled eyes. I should be seeing photos of Ellie next week I am told, so we'll all see what her eyes look like.
