Monty is coughing/choking almost none stop

Darren, happy tears here reading your latest update...I bet even Mr. Broccoli is happy too. :) Now we pray this keeps on the uphill and your precious Monty will be home and back to getting into mischief very soon. Take care of yourself too so YOU don't end up ill from exhaustion...this is such a draining time for all of you but we are holding out for a happy ending!

So happy to see your update this morning on Monty! That is fantastic news indeed. Now we pray that they can find the cause, because once you know that you can make sure it doesn't recur. It's a great idea to have him checked out with another vet too for a second opinion, especially if the cause is in any doubt.

I loved the description of Monty's reunion with Mr. B! That, and seeing you today, will be the best medicine he can have. Sending lots of positive thoughts across the pond for continued good news! Once you're home and can relax a bit, please get some rest! These things take a huge toll on us as well, and you need to take care of you too!
 
Thanks everyone, I should be able to get some rest now it looks like he is out of danger. Caro thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to write a lot of questions down and take them with me when I visit. They've asked for me to bring in samples of his food and treats so they can test those.
Just in case it is allergy related I've deep cleaned everything in the house and garden ready for him coming home. I don't know when he can come home yet but hopefully it's soon, I'll never complain about all the trouble he gets in to again :biggrin2:

I am just ecstatic that Monty is finally out of the woods! You must be so relieved...I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this must've been for you and the girls.
Your description of Monty's reunion with Mr B brought tears to my eyes as I'm sure it did to you!
Just a thought, did you check your yard for wild mushrooms? I know with lots of rain I get them growing in my grass from time to time...
Enjoy your visit with Monty (I hope he's as happy to see you as he was Mr B lol) and then get some rest!
 
AWESOME NEWS!! Woke up to check in first thing, I'm thrilled with the update plus the description of his reunion with Mr. B. Monty has been a lesson to that vet hospital for sure. Sometimes medical people think "yeah, yeah" when a family member has some weird request for a patient but you gotta LISTEN.

I know you can't wait to see him. I'm now praying you get to the bottom of this as well. Just so many variables. Have a rest, now that you've cleaned your house like a maniac and been up for days worrying, you need a good kip!
